End of HHJ Obsession/ Devotion

I've considered so many other areas of my life that could use this devotion. This is my goal deadline. I will have to purge all of my unused products and devote my time an energy to the betterment of another area of my life. MBL is my ultimate goal, but I have no idea where my hair will be come December 31, 2013. That will be five years of being hair obsessed.

Regimen "Try-outs" Dry DC'ing,Joico Moisture Recovery, CHI,etc.

***FORGIVE TYPO'S I WAS REALLY EXCITED.I'LL CORRECT LATER.
1. Dry Dc'c. I have been wanting to do this for such a long time. One of my hairoes uses this method, but it seemed to go against everything I believed in. Well, I tired it and now I like it. I steam dc's with JMR and I was very pleased. Then I cowashed with TRC and I will definitely be keeping this as a staple technique in my regimen now.

2. JMR-Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm- Okay, I couldn't hold it in any longer. Normally, I do a review once the bottle is used up but I couldn't wait. I've used this product 3-4 times thus far. This thick balm is the only DC that I can keep in my regimen as a staple even with it's thick nature. The scent is nothing spectacular or overwhleming. I will use with oils in the future to preserve this product. I am in love again, and Joico is the name. Most know I'm a huge Joico-lover.

3. Airdried courtesy of Sheliese- I Dc'd and cowashed. I then applied my leave in spray, CHI Straight Guard and some oils. I parted my hair in four sections prior to applying the leave ins section by section. I also applied Castor oil at the parts between each section and smoothed the oil over my roots with my fingers. I put a rubberband around each section and twisted it. I tied a scarf around my edges and tucked plaits under my bonnet. I awoke this morning with smooth NG and I was able to comb thorugh it with ease. I didn't have any problems using the rubberbands.Keep in mind I am 12 weeks post with lots of NG and I still have 12 weeks to go.

4. CHI Infra Shampoo- A go!!!! A definite staple. This poo is so moisturizing to me I almost turned my back on my Kenra. Now you know that's something. Kenra MS is the only poo that I've used since the day I found it back at the beginning of my journey. It's a tie for me with Kenra and Chi. I will definitely keep you all posted.

5. Thermal Spa Heating Cap-$15 @ BSS. I love it. I can hear my children when they talk to me. I am not sweating like crazy. My whole living room is not heated up and I can comfortably watch TV or listen to music without any issues. I feel like I get a more thorough dc with this cap. It is sooooooo much better than a hooded dryer when it comes to dc'ing. My NG really appreciates this. Great for summer or winter dc'ing. Heats up quickly.Best $15 I've spent thus far in my journey.

DISCLAIMER- Whether my review is good, bad or downright ugly, I am in no way affiliated with any of the aforementioned products. I am a consumer and I purchase all of the aforementioned products with my husbands hard-earned money. I am a self-made pj without any reimbursement or acknowledgement from any product companies.

DCing on dry hair is my fav cause I can cover it up and go to choir or the gym, come home co-wash and I'm done =)

I need that heating cap...I hate the whole set up thing to DC & when sch starts in the fall I won't have the time

I LOVE DCing on dry hair! My hair has benefited GREATLY from this method. Is the hair inspiration your talking about Bronzeg/China Black? lol, thats where I got it from.

@S-hair- I haven't dry dc'd and baggy, just yet. But thanls for the idea S-hair. I bet that will be super moisturizing. I do love this method of dc'ing better than th other way around. My hair seems a little thicker and not as weighed down this way. Now, as for the heating cap. I was about to give up on dc'ing and I had actually skipped a few dc's b/c of those reasons you named. It's too hot and I was already under the A/C to get up under that dryer for 20+ mins. My NG is responding to this cap a whole lot better than my hooded dryer.

@Nikki- Yes, yes it was. LOL!!!! I have been contemplating trying her regimen ever since the early HT days. Glad I did, my hair is very thankful.
