End of HHJ Obsession/ Devotion

I've considered so many other areas of my life that could use this devotion. This is my goal deadline. I will have to purge all of my unused products and devote my time an energy to the betterment of another area of my life. MBL is my ultimate goal, but I have no idea where my hair will be come December 31, 2013. That will be five years of being hair obsessed.

Quick Caruso Set

This morning my hubby needed to head to the Dr. I jumped up put in Caruso set while he showered. Like the infomercials say, "Set it and forget it" , that's how simple these are. No addt'l heat needed for straightening or drying.
I applied about a dime size amount of oil throughout my hair. Rollers were kept in for about 20 minutes or so. I finger combed and styled curls. Thanks, Shika!! I forgot how simple these rollers are to use and they turn blah into BOOM BAM!!! Very happy. Hubby was glad to see my hair down and dressed up. I look cute for cruising around here and there after the Dr appt. today.

Playing with eyeshadow (the only makeup I know how to apply, still only one color per application, not a blender yet)

I tried eyeshadow twice. First time I tried to blend....FAIL! 2nd time I tried one color and wasn't impressed. Honestly I'm a little discouraged now. Oh you just added to my list of reasons to get some steam rollers.

Cute!!! I love how you have it pinned up! And girl, I used to be soooo terrified of makeup but now I have on make-up about 75% of the time when I leave the house!

@blutiful, practice makes perfect!!

@ Blutiful Blaq- They are so quick and I don't have to hear my husband's mouth about why I am taking so long to do my hair. Each time apply it(makeup), I get better. I look through the Avon catalogs for tips and color ideas, not to mention the makeup some of the beautiful bloggers wear. I still don't want to wear it all the time.

@Shika- How did you become comfortable with makeup? I'm too scared I am going to look like a clown, literally.

love the curls! yay for the hubby being happy with ur hair, I find that so sexy!

i've pretty much always been a makeup girl, but only REALLY learned to blend while watching YT and purchasing some brushes (other than a foundation and blush brush). My first ones were the ones from target and eco-tools. changed my life!

Thanks, ECP!! I purchased an eyeliner brush from Avon. I have been experimenting here and there. I will definitely check out YT! Right now I can apply eyeliner, eyeshadow (one color at a time) and lip gloss(experimenting with deeper colored glosses) and mascara. Love the mascara look, I just hate the process of washing off makeup.
