I can't wait to use up all of my products and get back to my staples. I am slowly using them up. Perhaps, a blog sale in the future....who knows.
I washed my hair, airdried then flat ironed with my Corioliss flat iron. I was not pleased with the results at all. Sure I'm "unofficially" APL, but it looked so thin. Not thin ends, but my fine hair looked even thinner than usual. I didn't like how dry it felt. I straightened my hair because my sister was visiting and wanted to see the length of my hair. I ended up pulling out my Caruso set. The rest of the week I just pinned up my ends. Idk, I was looking for reasons to wash my because of how flat it looked.

FYI: I decided to go back to basics. I am purging my stash. I will complete the 3 leave ins and reconstructor that I am currently using then create my staple only regimen from there. I have so many products taking up space in my closet that I should get rid of. I stocked on staples today at Sally Beauty Supply. Here's a list of what I purchased:
All that's missing now is my CHI Infra Shampoo
* Silken Child Moisturizing Creme(easier than making my own and still makes our hair soft, moisturized and shiny)
* Motions CPR Treatment Conditioner
* Relaxer kits
* ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo
* Silk Elements Color Safe Sulfate Free Shampoo(new, free because I renewed discount card)
* Roux Porosity Contol Corrector & Conditioner(this is new, excited to try)

Your caruso set looks good!
You know, after roller-setting more often lately, I feel like my hair appears soooo much thinner that I prefer roller-wraps now!
Your hair looks great! I don't think it looks thin, but we are our own worst critics!
I've been feeling my hair is way too thin. This is why I'm considering texlaxing. I want to go ahead and make up my mind so I can start while my hair is shorter and it prevents the amount of cutting I will have to do in the end.
Thanks, Shika. I think I may do roller wraps from here on out. Rollersetting has really shown me how much fuller my hair seems.
Thanks, Ms.D I do try to remember how hard I can be on myself, but it really did seem then. We'll see next time around. Of course it could've been my flat iron with no heat settings too.
Blutiful Blaq, I have been seriously considering texlaxing too. I will need to research it more, though. I have fine hair as it is so flat iron makes it seem thin. I guess that's why I like air dried, textured styles. I'll check my progress pics the next couple relaxers and from there.
