End of HHJ Obsession/ Devotion

I've considered so many other areas of my life that could use this devotion. This is my goal deadline. I will have to purge all of my unused products and devote my time an energy to the betterment of another area of my life. MBL is my ultimate goal, but I have no idea where my hair will be come December 31, 2013. That will be five years of being hair obsessed.

3.17.2012 Relaxed @ 10 Wk post

I self-relaxed my hair today and let me tell you, it was a task. I believe it seemed so tedious because I had been up since 7am doing my daughter's hair and getting her ready for choir rehearsal. I relaxed my hair and in the process I had to stop to make sure she was ready, time just got away from me today.

Relaxer: African Pride Regular (box kit)- I remember using African Pride at my longest length pre-hhj so I wanted to try it again. Not sold, but then again, I was too distracted during this process. I will definitely give it another shot before I go back to Soft & Beautiful(box kit).

PROCESS:
Detangled then sectioned hair into four parts
Based scalp, edges and ears with leftover Blue Magic grease
Applied Roux PC and FX Silk Drops serum to previously relaxed hair
Applied relaxer and smoothed new growth
Rinsed thoroughly then applied Duo Tex Protein Conditioner(unable to leave on full three to five minutes that I wanted to because during the relaxer process I felt burning at my nape)
Neutralized repeatedly with shampoo that came with relaxer until bottle used up then Elasta QP Stop Action Shampoo. I did let the last two soaks stay in for about 3 minutes.
Deep Conditioned with Motions CPR Treatment Conditioner for about five minutes(I was slacking,I'll correct it next week)
Final Rinse with Roux PC

Set:
Blow-dried and flat-ironed. Then took length check pics

I applied a pea size amount of Coco Mix, wrapped my hair and went to sleep. I could not get my wrap to straighten out, but I am at line five. I'll take another length pic when it straightens out later this week. My hair was not tangled or stripped during the process. I was so surprised. My hair is so soft and shiny. I wish I could've captured it better in the pics.

VICTORIES:
*Increase in thickness/fullness
*So much "swang"
*Definitely APL, trim in June after roller set challenge complete

Line 5 when straightened
