End of HHJ Obsession/ Devotion

I've considered so many other areas of my life that could use this devotion. This is my goal deadline. I will have to purge all of my unused products and devote my time an energy to the betterment of another area of my life. MBL is my ultimate goal, but I have no idea where my hair will be come December 31, 2013. That will be five years of being hair obsessed.

Swanging and Banging Challenge

B
May 1-August 31, 2012Link to ECP's Challenge
http://longing4length.blogspot.com/2012/04/bangin-swangin-body-and-hair-challenge.html

Height 5'5
Weight 177
Bust 38
Waist 37
Hips 44

Well, this is me. This was actually very hard to look at. For while I have been an hourglass and I could feel the pudge coming but I just kept being complacent. I exercise off/on, never consistently. I have a bad habit of seeing results then treating myself and end up cheating myself out of all of my hard work. Am I addicted to junk food? No. I eat pretty healthy except that dinner prep/ fast food at dinner time is my weakness. I am not a great cook so I always end up splurging on dinner. I have a hard time turning down a Whopper and onion rings. Believe it or not, I drink plenty of water. I do not eat sweets or drink soda. I am often inspired by so many weight loss journeys, but I can't seem to stay motivated.

Weight history:
My lightest weight was 145 in high school," Betty Boop fine, Jessica Rabbit fine". I have never been obese. After my first child I went up to 165, still hourglass, thicker thighs, but stomach was still flat. After my second child I began to teeter over the thick to plump line at 175-180 fluctuating. I never had to exercise until after my second child and my c-section. It's amazing what difference a few lbs makes on my frame. Anyway I just want to become consistent in my healthy lifestyle. If I could give it a percentage I would say that I am about 40% committed at this point.

What I'll Use:
Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred
Denise Austin Get Fit Fast
Zumba Exhilarate Set (mainly Exhilarate and Activate DVDs)
Blogilates-workouts
3 & 5lb weights

Goals:
145 lbs- I don't want to be thin, toned
Complete J. Micheals 30 Day Shred, workout M-F, rest weekends
Decrease amount of processed food I eat daily
Resume preparing work meals and snacks a day ahead

HAIR- LENGTH!!!Continue to keep my hair and regimen healthy and simple so my hair will flourish. I will PS at least 3 days a week. I'm figuring out a rollerset that will require little time so no fuss when it's time to ps.

I need to do a list of products like you. Maybe that will help me start to get rid of them.

I'm not joining the banging/swanging challenge because I fear I'll over think it and stop exercising altogether. BUT I am so inspired by your plans for it. I can't wait to see your reviews/results of the programs you've chosen.

I'm rooting for you.

MrsDjRass- Thanks, I need all the help I can get.The list definitely does help me to use them up while I clean out my stash. I am almost back to my staple products.

I know exactly where you're at! I've been working out but then I'll sometimes sabotage all my hard work with bad choices. Whoppers aren't necessarily my weakness but french fries?? Chile, please. Anyway, I'm really happy you're making changes and I can't wait to see all of our progress at the end of the challenge!

Thank you Tai for letting me know I am not the only one with a weakness for french fries. This week I have gradually been turning down fried foods. It has been tough, but it getting easier as I remind myself how hard my workouts are and how a handful of french fries can throw all of my hard work out the window.

Trying to figure out when and how I should do my updates. We'll see.

I should really get on this challenge, but I won't because I know in the long run I just won't stick to it. Whilst I was away my boyfriend thought it would be funny to take a picture of me whilst I was getting ready for bed. I wanted to cry when I saw the picture. I will definitely be doing something about it now that I am back.

Well done for joining the challenge and all the best of luck - I'm sure you will do great!

Thanks. A candid picture was actually my motivation. I thought I looked one way, I saw a recent photo of myself in a dress that should've been very flattering. At least your honest with yourself, maybe you'll join at a later point, either way glad to have you cheering us on.
