I just found your blog last night. I hope you don't mind me commenting so late. This post spoke to my heart. I am currently where you are. Missing God. Needing him in my life. Getting over being burnt out from going CONSTANTLY! and last but not least for me a DEEP church hurt. I am currently seeking a new church home so I can began to worship God again. It's been 2 years. Hi there, Thanks for stopping by my site!
Church going is one of those things that ebbs and flows... It's easy to get caught up in the "Go every time the door's open" or the "Oh, we missed last week what's one more week at home gonna hurt".
We found a church. We do not "fit in" at all BUT we feel like God has called us and our rambunctious little boys there for some reason and He will do with us as He sees fit.

I understand how you feel, but you are on the right track. You at least realize that you need to be in the right place to do what you feel God has called you to do. So, open your heart and let him lead you to the place that is the right fit for you and fullfills your spiritual needs. You'll know when it's right~I wish you and your family blessings my friend.
